What Clients Are Saying

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the recovery focus of the Taiwanese meal plan?

The Taiwanese program follows a more structured traditional confinement approach.

Its early stages emphasize warming nourishment, restoring balance, supporting postpartum reconditioning and addressing the feeling of coldness traditionally associated with postpartum recovery.

Breastfeeding nutrition becomes a later focus in the program.

How is Taiwanese different from Cantonese postpartum meals?

Taiwanese meals are warmer, richer and more structured, with frequent sesame oil dishes, traditional functional foods, organ meats and repeated dishes.

Cantonese meals offer greater variety, more double-boiled soups and desserts, and a stronger breastfeeding-nutrition focus throughout the program.

Are organ meats included?

Yes. Traditional Taiwanese postpartum meals commonly include organ meats such as pork liver (daily in the first week )and pork kidney (daily in the second week), particularly during the earlier stages of the program.

If you do not eat organ meats, please tell us before ordering so we can confirm whether this meal style is appropriate for you.

Does the Taiwanese plan support breastfeeding nutrition?

Yes, but its emphasis differs from the Cantonese program.

The Taiwanese plan initially focuses more heavily on warming nourishment and structured postpartum recovery, with breastfeeding nutrition receiving emphasis later in the program.

Can the Taiwanese plan support C-section recovery?

Yes. The program can be personalized for both vaginal and C-section recovery.

After birth, your intake information helps us consider your current recovery needs within the structure of the Taiwanese meal program.

When should I confirm my postpartum meal start date?

Please provide your estimated due date when placing your order. This date is used for planning purposes only — your meals will not automatically begin on your due date.

Once your baby arrives and you’re ready to begin, complete the Meal Starting Intake Form with your updated information and preferred start date.

For next-day delivery, please submit the form before 6:00 PM. Deliveries are available Monday to Saturday, excluding Sundays (Sunday meals are delivered on Saturday).
